Giacometti and the Temple of Dendur
Decided to up and take my new hip for a spin this year. I am visiting my friend Jeanette and her partner Kenny in New York. She lives in Astoria so maybe a Mamdani sighting?
One of the main reasons I decided to take the trip was because of a Giacometti exhibit at the Met where they placed some of his iconic statues in the Temple of Dendur room along with the current ancient Egyptian temple and other statues. The exhibit is fascinating and a very creative idea that works well.
